Swati
One-of-a-Kind Vintage Sari Silk Kaftan
Named after the woman who generously donated the vintage silk sari used to create this piece, SWATI is a celebration of memory, heritage, and renewal. Passed down to her by her mother and lovingly preserved over the years, the textile now begins a new chapter as a contemporary African kaftan.
Soft ivory and sage tones are paired with rich burgundy details and a Nigerian inspired embroidered neckline, bringing together Indian textile traditions and West African design. Each piece is one of a kind, carrying the stories of the women connected to it across generations.
Handmade by a small woman-owned business in India, SWATI reflects a commitment to slow fashion, craftsmanship, and giving treasured textiles a second life.

Our Philosophy
At Lola Faturoti Loves, we transform vintage textiles into one-of-a-kind garments that honor craftsmanship, culture, and sustainability. Because we work with reclaimed sari silk, subtle signs of age or gentle wear may occasionally be present. We view these not as flaws, but as part of each textile’s unique story—a reminder that something beautiful has been given a second life.
Made from memory. Worn with intention.
